Dr. Farid Ayad is the founder of Ayad Dental, a family dental practice he established in 1989 with a commitment to delivering exceptional, compassionate care to the community. After earning his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Tanta University, he continued his education in Canada, pursuing advanced studies in Operative Dentistry at Western University and Oral Microbiology at University of Toronto before earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in Toronto.
For more than 35 years, Dr. Ayad has been dedicated to advancing the field of dentistry through clinical excellence, lifelong learning, research, and mentorship. His commitment to continuing education led him to complete a Master's Degree in the Fundamental Practice of Oral Implantology from University of Lille and the Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program at Harvard Medical School.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ayad played a pivotal role in establishing Ayad Dental as a respected clinical research centre. As a Clinical Research Investigator and Examiner, he participated in numerous research studies and contributed to publications in leading dental journals, helping advance knowledge and innovation in patient care.
Dr. Ayad's greatest professional achievement is the legacy he built through Ayad Dental. Joined by his daughter, Dr. Nuhad Ayad, and his son, Dr. Raed Ayad, PhD, Dr. Ayad has created a practice founded on family values, clinical excellence, integrity, and a genuine commitment to serving the community. His dedication to dentistry, education, research, and patient care continues to inspire the next generation and remains at the heart of Ayad Dental today.
Dr. Nuhad Ayad earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Western University before obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Celebrating over 20 years of practicing dentistry in Ontario, Dr. Nuhad is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. She is committed to lifelong learning and has completed extensive continuing education in restorative dentistry, pediatric dentistry, TMJ disorders, facial pain management, oral medicine, oral pathology, dental aesthetics, and cosmetic dentistry. This advanced training allows her to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Dr. Nuhad proudly practices alongside her father, Dr. Farid Ayad, at Ayad Dental. In addition to her clinical work, she has participated in numerous clinical research studies and has contributed to publications in respected dental journals.
Outside the office, Dr. Nuhad is passionate about community involvement and giving back. She actively supports educational, health, and community initiatives and enjoys spending time with her husband and four daughters, reading, Pilates, and supporting causes that strengthen the community she is proud to serve
Dr. Ahmad Naser Agha is a dedicated general dentist committed to providing comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. He has experience in preventive, restorative, and emergency dentistry and takes pride in helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles.
Dr. Thana Al-Najar is a compassionate general dentist with over 12 years of clinical experience, including 9 years practicing in Canada. She is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and is certified in nitrous oxide sedation. Dr. Al-Najar offers a full range of dental services, including preventive care, restorative dentistry, cosmetic treatments, root canal therapy, and extractions. Her goal is to help every patient achieve optimal oral health in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Dr. Hasan Al Sholi is a board-certified dentist certified by the National Dental Examining Board and an active member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association. He provides comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages, focusing on patient comfort and satisfaction. In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Al Sholi serves as a clinical instructor with Prep Doctors, helping internationally trained dentists succeed in the Canadian dental profession.
Dr. Obada Bahru has over 20 years of clinical experience with a primary focus on implant dentistry and implant restorations. He specializes in implant-supported restorations, single and multiple implant cases, implant-retained dentures, and overdentures. Dr. Bahru earned a Master’s Degree in Fundamental and Practical Implantology from Lille University and holds Fellowship and Diplomate credentials from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), as well as Associate Fellow status with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). He is dedicated to delivering long-lasting, natural-looking results through advanced implant solutions
Frozan has been part of the Ayad Dental family since June 2009. As a dedicated and compassionate dental hygienist, she is committed to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles. With a strong focus on preventive dental care, she provides professional cleanings, oral health assessments, patient education, and personalized hygiene plans. Frozan believes excellent oral health is an important part of overall well-being, and she strives to create a comfortable, friendly, and stress-free environment where patients feel informed and supported.
Lina is a certified dental assistant with over two years of experience and HARP certification. She is passionate about patient care and looks forward to assisting patients with professionalism, compassion, and a friendly approach in our family-oriented practice.
Nesrin is a certified dental assistant with over five years of experience. She is dedicated to supporting patients throughout their dental care experience. Nesrin assists with clinical procedures while helping create a welcoming and comfortable environment. She is committed to providing professional and compassionate care as part of the Ayad Dental team.
Natalie’s goal is to ensure that every patient receives a positive, comfortable, and seamless experience from their first interaction with the office through the completion of their treatment. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment, supporting efficient office operations, and helping the team deliver the highest standard of dental care. Through professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail, she strives to build lasting relationships with patients while contributing to the continued growth and success of Ayad Dental. She has been proudly serving patients and supporting clinical excellence since 2020.
Shahad recently graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences and has a strong passion for healthcare, communication, and patient-centered care. As a receptionist at Ayad Dental, she enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and supported from the moment they walk through the doors. Her experiences in healthcare and educational settings have strengthened her communication skills and reinforced her commitment to helping others. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career in speech therapy and support individuals in improving their communication and quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys teaching, tutoring, and continuing to learn about health and human development.
